Finding a property to rent can be stressful. At Aston and Co, we are here to help you find a property that meets your individual requirements. How we do this is outlined below.

What should I expect to pay if I rent a property through Aston & Co?

After viewing a suitable property, if you would like us to put forward an application to the landlord we require all adult occupants (Whether working or not) to complete an application form & return ts along with the following:-

  1. A copy of your Passport.
  2. A recent utility bill (Or similar) to confirm your current address
  3. Last 3 months bank Statements
  4. Last 3 months salary slips or Accountants details/2 years accounts if self-employed.

If you have any special requirements, please add them to the appropriate section on the application form header or email separately. In order to do this you will need to complete an Application Form and provide the following back up information for each applicant:

The same information will be required from a Guarantor if applicable.

Your application will be submitted to the Landlord and once accepted in principle; you will be asked to pay a holding deposit equal to 1 weeks rent. We do not accept cash payments. Should your application be unsuccessful the holding deposit (Or part) may be retained in certain circumstances e.g. Where inaccurate or misleading information is entered on the application or guarantor forms.

Shortly before moving into the property, you will be asked to pay your first month’s rent and a dilapidation deposit (Also known as a Security Deposit) equal to 5 weeks rent. The Holding Deposit may be applied towards the dilapidation deposit.

Aston & Co has elected to protect deposits in the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) custodial scheme. This is subject to your Landlords terms and conditions.
